Brian Swanson has run a successful independent design practice for the past 30 years — designing, consulting and implementing a diverse range of projects, including: shopping center planning, retail stores, luxury retail, restaurants, cafes, hotel interior concepts, and residences.
Having worked in the U.S., Canada, South Africa and the U.K., Brian brings many years of international experience and expertise to the successful design firm he established in 1986.
An award-winning designer, Brian’s strength is his ability to envision exciting, unique design solutions. His numerous and diverse projects illustrate a passion for design and planning that gives Brian’s work a singular, always thought-provoking aesthetic.
Primarily a specialist in retail design, his portfolio includes such notable projects as the U.S. Naval Academy Visitor Center Gift Store in Annapolis and 12 luxury stores in the Wynn Encore, with Steve Wynn, in Las Vegas. He recently designed Tyra Banks’ residence and corporate offices in New York.
Between 2003 and 2011, he consulted with Barteluce Architects & Associates (BAA), New York, offering them a white label design service in the planning and design of many major projects.
